PuppetHunt.tv
PuppetHunt.tv is a database dedicated to puppets on screen: films, series, TV programmes, documentaries, commercials, music videos, filmed puppet theatre… and much more. Everything that used to be scattered across streaming platforms, TV channels and YouTube, brought together in one place. And it keeps growing: new titles are added to the catalogue all the time.

Why PuppetHunt exists
It was born out of a very simple frustration: if you love puppets on screen, there was nowhere to find them. No database, no catalogue, no map of the territory. Films, series and programmes with puppets were spread across streaming platforms, TV channels and YouTube, unconnected and almost impossible to discover unless you already knew where to look.
PuppetHunt brings them together in a single catalogue. It isn't a streaming platform: for each title it tells you what it is and who made it, and takes you to where you can watch it, whether that's a streaming service, a TV channel or a YouTube video.
It's a living project that will never be finished: the catalogue keeps growing with new productions and forgotten classics. And every Friday, a newsletter with the best finds.
Made by puppet people
PuppetHunt is a Sinilos Puppet Studio project. For more than 25 years we have been creating, building and performing puppets for theatre, television, film and advertising: we have worked on Los Lunnis —including their feature film—, Los Algos (Cuatro) and Aprendemos en Clan (RTVE), and as consultants and puppeteers on advertising campaigns with puppets.
That craft perspective decides what goes into the catalogue. The rule is simple: the puppet has to be real, and there have to be puppeteers bringing it to life. Technology is welcome, as long as there is a real puppet at the heart of it; what stays out is computer animation and AI-generated puppets. It's the same eye we bring to other productions from our studio.
Puppets belong to cultures all over the world, and so do their fans. That's why PuppetHunt is available in eight languages, so everyone can discover these works in their own language.
